For many years, replacing a light bulb in a car was considered routine maintenance by most automobile manufacturers. After all, most bulbs would only cost a dollar or two and little or no labor would be charged during a replacement. It would have cost more to administer the claim then the dealer would receive for reimbursement. However, Honda Care has always covered the cost of bulb replacement in the dash. While it would still only cost a dollar or two for the bulb, the time spent could result in a labor charge that could be considered unreasonable by a person who had a Honda Care Service Contract.
Advancements in lighting technology has given rise to the use of the more modern LED and LCD bulbs. These are much more efficient, brighter and last longer than the older bulbs, but they cost a lot more. In many cases, a bulb replacement has gone from a one digit expense to a three digit expense.
Cargo/Sunshade Cover Retractor Mechanisms, Catalytic Converters, Headlamps, Tail Lamps, Turn Signal, all Light Bulbs, LEDs, LCDs (except for breakage) included with contracts purchased after 10/1/2019.
Honda Financial Services (HFS) announces two new enhancements to Honda Care Vehicle Service Contract (VSC) plans: Family Plan and Extended Towing.
Effective October 1, 2014, customers who purchase or who have purchased Honda Care on 2015 or newer Honda vehicles will be entitled to two new benefits at no additional cost. These benefits are available to you as soon as your Honda Care application has been processed.
In addition to the covered vehicle, all roadside assistance benefits will cover up to five (5) Honda or Acura passenger vehicles or Honda motorcycles registered to same household address.

We've waived the $100 towing limit. We'll provide towing to the closest Honda or Acura dealer regardless of miles. We'll also extend coverage an additional 25 miles if a customer wants to be towed to a specific dealer.
